13 Attack of the Vine! July 24, 2026 Pixar (Monsters Inc., Up, Inside Out) — releasing soon
14 (name not yet confirmed) Q4 2026 (expected) Coco theme

Important: these 1–14 are the numbered main line. The separate Illumineer's Quest boxes are not counted – more on that below. As of July 2026, Set 13 (Attack of the Vine!) has not yet released; it launches on July 24. Set 14 is announced around a Coco theme, but has no official set name yet.

💡 Good to know: Several sets have a slightly earlier prerelease or in-store date (about a week ahead) in addition to the official "everywhere" release date. The table lists the regular release months of broad availability.

The set cadence: roughly four main sets a year

Once you understand the Disney Lorcana sets in order, a pattern quickly emerges: Ravensburger publishes about four numbered main sets per year, so roughly a new set every three months. This steady cadence makes Lorcana easy to plan around – for players and collectors alike.

The classic quarterly cadence

In 2024 and 2025, releases mostly fell in February, May, August and November. This rhythm has become the backbone of the Lorcana calendar. In 2026 the cadence shifted slightly: sets arrived in February (Winterspell), May (Wilds Unknown) and July (Attack of the Vine!), with one more set expected in the fourth quarter.

One standalone product extra per year

Alongside the numbered main sets, there is usually one standalone Illumineer's Quest box per year. These boxes are not part of the main line, but they add to the calendar. They stay out of the ordering and counting of the "real" sets – the next section explains why.

📊 Recommendation: The steady quarterly cadence helps you plan purchases. Around a new set, attention to its predecessors often picks up. Knowing the order lets you spot such patterns earlier – and watch them systematically with a price tracker. For more on individual card values, see the guide Lorcana Card Prices.

Illumineer's Quest: the standalone series alongside the main line

A common point of confusion: the Illumineer's Quest. These are cooperative adventure boxes with exclusive cards and a playmat – more of a board-game-style experience than a regular booster expansion. Key for this overview: they are a separate standalone series and do not belong to the numbered main line 1–14.

The Quest boxes released so far

Because the Quest boxes are not counted, the main line stays clean at 1 through 14. For collectors, the exclusive cards from these boxes are still interesting – they aren't available through regular boosters. If you keep cards from a Quest box in your collection, it pays to separate them clearly from the main-set cards.

💡 Practical tip: Treat Quest boxes and their exclusive cards as their own category in your collection. That way you don't mix them up with the numbered sets and you keep a clear view of which part of your collection comes from the main line and which from the standalone products.

Upcoming sets: Attack of the Vine! and Set 14

For many collectors, the most exciting part is the upcoming sets. Two are in focus right now – though we need to distinguish between a set with a concrete date and one that is still largely unconfirmed.

Set 13: Attack of the Vine! (July 24, 2026)

Attack of the Vine! is Set 13 and releases on July 24, 2026 (with a prerelease from July 17). It continues the Pixar integration that began with Wilds Unknown: this time, characters from Monsters Inc. (Mike, Sulley), Up and Inside Out are on board. As of July 2026 the set has not yet shipped – so it is an upcoming, not an already released, set.

Set 14: Coco theme, Q4 2026 (unconfirmed)

Set 14 is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, themed around Coco (Miguel). Important context: the set name is not yet officially confirmed and there is no fixed release date. Names circulating in the community usually refer to the in-game location, not an official product title. So treat these details as provisional and unconfirmed until Ravensburger makes them official.

💡 Good to know: The Pixar integration (from Set 12) is seen as a possible spark for renewed attention. Whether and how strongly that moves demand can only be judged in hindsight – which is why it makes sense to watch the price development around new releases rather than rely on speculation.

Why set order and age matter to collectors

Set order is more than a timeline. For collectors and anyone who wants to keep an eye on the value of their collection, the order and age of a set offer important clues about market dynamics.

Age and availability

Older sets eventually stop being produced. Once supply dries up, sealed stock becomes scarcer – a classic factor that can support the value of sought-after products when demand persists. With Lorcana, The First Chapter (Set 1) is the prime example: the launch set was at times almost impossible to find early on, was later reprinted, and prices normalized afterwards. That story shows how strongly supply and restocking move the market.

Fresh sets fluctuate more

Freshly released sets often behave differently: right after release a lot of product is in circulation, and the prices of individual cards can swing noticeably until a level settles in. Knowing the order helps you interpret such movements better – and not mistake a normal post-release swing for a genuine value development.

The trend price as a reliable metric

For valuing individual cards, the Cardmarket trend price is the right guide. It is based on a weighted average of the items actually sold most recently and filters out outliers. That makes it the realistic market value – especially for young sets whose single listings scatter widely. How to use this specifically for investment considerations is explained in the guide Lorcana Investment. Which cards rank at the top is shown in the overview of the most valuable Lorcana cards.

📊 Important: All prices are snapshots. Trading card values fluctuate – up as well as down. Understand the set order as context, not a return promise. Prices are approximate (as of July 2026) and change constantly.

Tracking Lorcana sets in the tool

With 14 main sets, ongoing releases and the separate Quest boxes, an Excel spreadsheet quickly gets unwieldy. A dedicated tracker takes the work off your hands. TCGPriceTracker was built for exactly this – here are the most important features for your Lorcana collection:

Daily price updates from Cardmarket

All prices in your Lorcana collection are retrieved automatically from Cardmarket every day. You always see the current trend price – across all sets, without a single click. No more looking things up card by card.

Over 20 TCGs in one tool – including Lorcana

Whether it's Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! or One Piece TCG – TCGPriceTracker supports more than 20 trading card games in one dashboard. You can manage your Lorcana sets alongside other collections without needing a separate tool for each game.

Sealed & singles – the right variant, language & condition

You can record both sealed products (booster displays, bundles) and single cards (singles). You add each single via its exact Cardmarket link – so the variant, language and condition are captured automatically and the card enters your collection with its own correct trend price. Each card shows fields such as Set, Language, Condition, Grading and Trend Price. That way your portfolio reflects the correct value.

Total portfolio value & ROI analysis

Enter your purchase price and see immediately how your investment is developing – across all sets. TCGPriceTracker automatically calculates the total value of your collection as well as the ROI (return on investment) for each position. That way you can tell which sets and products are paying off.

Watchlist, grading status & CSV import/export

Put cards from any set on your watchlist and get notified via web and email as soon as the trend price reaches your target. For graded cards you store the grading status. And with the CSV import you transfer an existing list in just a few minutes – a CSV export is available at any time, so your data belongs to you.

Frequently asked questions about the Disney Lorcana sets

How many Disney Lorcana sets are there and in what order do they release?

The main line comprises the numbered sets 1 through 14, starting with The First Chapter (August 2023). Set 13, Attack of the Vine!, is about to release (out on July 24, 2026), while Set 14 with a Coco theme is expected in Q4 2026 – its name is not yet officially confirmed. On top of that come the standalone Illumineer's Quest boxes, which are not part of the numbered line.

How often do new Lorcana sets release?

Ravensburger publishes roughly four numbered main sets per year – historically about every three months. In 2024 and 2025 releases mostly fell in February, May, August and November; in 2026 the cadence shifted to February, May, July and one more set in Q4. In addition, one standalone Illumineer's Quest box releases each year.

What is the Illumineer's Quest and does it count as a numbered set?

The Illumineer's Quest is a standalone series of cooperative adventure boxes with exclusive cards and a playmat. It is separate from the numbered main line and is not counted. So far Deep Trouble (May 2024) and Palace Heist (May 2025) have released; The Great Hunny Rescue is announced for October 2026.

Which is the newest and which is the upcoming Lorcana set?

The most recent released main set is Wilds Unknown (Set 12, May 2026) with the first Pixar integration (Toy Story). Next comes Attack of the Vine! (Set 13) on July 24, 2026, featuring characters from Monsters Inc., Up and Inside Out. Set 14 with a Coco theme is expected in Q4 2026, but its name is not yet officially confirmed.

Why do set order and a set's age matter to collectors?

Set order and age help you gauge how scarce a set is on the market. Older sets that are no longer produced can be more stable in value when demand persists, while fresh sets often fluctuate more in price right after release. For valuing your collection, the Cardmarket trend price is the most reliable metric.

Yes. TCGPriceTracker retrieves prices automatically from Cardmarket and updates them daily. You can record cards and sealed products from any set, see the total value and ROI of your collection and set price alerts via the watchlist – for all Lorcana sets plus over 20 other TCGs in one dashboard.
